About Canopy Tree Care

Canop Tree Care HQWe began undertaking arboricultural works in the days when we were a woodland owners’ co-operative to provide an essential service to members, many of whom were owners of private estates with arboretums, parkland trees and trees in proximity to roads and buildings.  Since those days we have merged with Scottish Woodlands Ltd to become part of a larger company providing services involving trees to a wide range of customers.

We currently operate out of two deports in North East Wales, at Mold and Ruabon, with our administration office being at Tattenhall, Chester.

Working with ropesOur business is tree care – we aim to promote and exhibit best practice in all aspects of tree care.  We have been an Arboricultural Association Approved Contractor for over 20 years and work closely with our staff to ensure continuous improvement in our knowledge and performance as part of our ISO 9001:2000 accreditation and we care for the environment through our ISO 14001 accreditation.  We invest to ensure our equipment is replaced on a regular basis and with our fully equipped workshop we are able to ensure that our machinery is always in service.   Most importantly, we measure the level of repeat business from our customers to ensure continued client satisfaction.

ISO 9001:2000 and 14001 are management systems which ensure that companies comply with quality and environmental procedures set out in them.  Compliance is monitored through regular audits carried out by the issuing body.

The Arboricultural Association is the leading body for tree works in the UK and has standards and procedures which Approved Contractors must comply with.  Compliance is monitored by regular audits by the Association.
